Voice-first document reader
Read any document the way you read a colleague’s mind — by asking.
BeaconReader is a voice-first reader for blind professionals. Upload a contract, report, or deck and converse with Beacon, the built-in voice agent. Navigate by section. Annotate by voice. Ask anything.
Works in any modern browser. Installs as a Progressive Web App on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.
Built for the way professionals actually work with documents
Most document tools assume sighted scanning. BeaconReader is built from the first keystroke for voice navigation, with accessibility as the product, not a setting.
Upload from anywhere
Drop a PDF, Word doc, or slide deck — or share straight from iOS into the app. Your place is saved, even across devices.
Talk to Beacon
Read aloud, jump to a section, summarize a clause, or pull every reference to a defined term. Beacon is conversational, not transactional.
Annotate by voice
Mark a passage, dictate a note, and export your annotations to email. Hands stay on the keyboard.
WCAG AAA contrast
Every action color clears AAA. Forced-contrast and Windows High Contrast are first-class — not an afterthought.
Designed for screen readers
Tested with VoiceOver and NVDA before each release. Every interactive element has an accurate accessible name and visible focus ring.
Works offline-first
Installs as a PWA. The app shell loads without a connection — your reading session keeps going through flaky Wi-Fi and tunnels.
Made for the documents that actually matter
BeaconReader is designed for professionals whose jobs depend on navigating dense, structured documents quickly: lawyers, investors, analysts, consultants, executives. The kinds of documents we optimize for:
- Contracts, MSAs, and SPAs
- Investment memos and quality-of-earnings reports
- Board decks and earnings calls
- Regulatory filings and compliance briefs
- Research reports and white papers
Privacy is a hard constraint
BeaconReader is built for documents you wouldn’t hand to a stranger. Logs never include document titles, note text, or contents — only the IDs needed to operate the system. Storage is encrypted at rest. Voice connections use ephemeral, short-lived credentials that never reach the browser.
- No document contents in logs
- Encrypted storage, per-user isolation
- Ephemeral voice tokens only
- Audit log for every document access

Try it on your next contract.
Open the app, sign in with a magic link or passkey, and ask Beacon to read.
